Our branch of the family is descended from Martin (back row - third from the right) (b Whitby 1852)
who married Elizabeth Wilson (b Wigan 1851) in Whitby in 1869

Our Roe ancestors date back to the North Yorkshire Moors in the mid 1500s - and maybe before!
