There is a family link between A V Roe & Henry Royce -
Henry Royce was the godfather of A V Roe's youngest son - Royce Roe!

THE WHITBY PHOTOGRAPHERS

Whilst examining the Roe Family Victorian photos, I decided to have a look at the origins of the people who took some of the photos. It was quite interesting to find out that James Aston Briggs and John Harrison Dawson lived next door to each other in the 1891 census
